87. Mini bootjesquilt / Mini Boat Quilt

Het is een van m’n favoriete mini-quilts, dit zeilbootje. Het is al 12 jaar oud en heeft gehangen op de miniquilttentoonstelling in Amsterdam-Noord in 2000, waar het thema “Sail Amsterdam” was. Het quiltje is helemaal met de hand gemaakt en is slechts 28 bij 35 cm groot. 

This sailing boat is one of my favorite mini-quilts. It’s already 12 years old and was displayed on the mini-quilt exhibition of the Dutch Quilt Guild in Amsterdam in 2000, where the topic was “Sail Amsterdam”. It is completely made by hand and measures only 11” x 14” (28 x 35 cm).
