Voor het eerst was ik op de handwerkbeurs in Zwolle.
Natuurlijk m’n ogen uitgekeken, zoveel mooie spullen om zelf te maken: stof,
wol, borduurwerk en nog meer moois. Ik miste één stand, eentje waar je tijd kon
kopen… Wat ik wel gekocht heb: 3 mooie wit-op-wit lapjes voor een scrapquilt.
Ja hoor, iets kopen voor een scrapquilt, alsof ik niet genoeg scraps heb. Maar
er komen niet alleen scraps in, er moet een ondersteunende kleur bij.
I was at the handicraft fair in Zwolle/Netherlands where
much was to be seen, so many beautiful things to make from fabrics, wool,
embroidery and much more. I missed one stand though, one where you could buy
time… What I did buy were three beautiful white-on-white fat quarters to use
for a scrap quilt. Yes, I know, buying something for a scrap quilt sounds
funny, as if I don’t have enough scraps. But not only scraps will be included, there should also be a supporting color.
Natuurlijk meteen de dag erop uitgeprobeerd en dit is het
resultaat van de eerste blokken!
Of course I had to try it out the next day and
this is the result of the first blocks!
