76. Wilt u wat moois? / Do You Fancy Something Beautiful?

Na de paaseieren maar even iets wat beter voor de lijn is… Is dit niet prachtig om naar te kijken, zo’n schaal vol onweerstaanbaar moois?

Now that the easter eggs are gone I like to show something which is more figure-friendly… Isn’t it wonderful to look at this plate full of unresistable beauties?

51. Quilt uit Frankrijk / Quilt from France

Even simpel als mooi, deze quilt die ik in een winkel in de Dordogne zag. Strookjes gekleurde stof (en bandjes) afgewisseld met ecru stof, en dan met gekleurd katoenen garen doorgepit. Prachtig!

As simple as it is beautiful, this quilt I spotted in a shop in the Dordogne / France. Small strips of colorful fabric (and ribbons) combined with the ecru fabric, and then quilted with colored cotton thread. Beautiful!
