176. Kerstquilt / Christmas Quilt (1)

Hoewel het nog volop herfst is, begint kerst al snel te naderen. Op de foto één van de kerstquilts die ik gemaakt heb. Ik had een lap stof met kerstplaatjes in de basiskleuren gevonden. Deze heb ik in “hapklare brokken” geknipt en met patchwork blokken in dezelfde tinten gecombineerd. In de sashings staat de tekst: Peace On Earth, Good Will To All te lezen. Een wens die helaas nog altijd nodig is.

Although it’s still autumn, christmas is approaching quickly. On the picture you can see one of the christmas quilts I’ve made. I found a piece of lovely christmas fabric in basic colors. I cut them into easy to use blocks and combined them with patchwork blocks in similar colors. In the sashings you can read the inscription: Peace On Earth, Good Will To All. A wish that is still needed, unfortunately.
