94. Werktafel / Working Table

Ik heb al een keer mijn kast vol stoffen laten zien, dit keer een kijkje op mijn werktafel. Ik weet, het lijkt een rommeltje (en dat is het ook), maar ik weet precies waar alles ligt, en hou zelfs nog plek over om te werken! Erg handig is het vak voor linealen en snijmatten, wat mijn man onder de werktafel (een oude eettafel) heeft gemaakt. En op de tafel ligt o.a. het werkje waar ik op dat moment mee bezig was, m’n tasje met hexagons om zo mee te nemen op reis of naar de bee, een borduurwerkje, m’n laptop voor de broodnodige arbeidsvitaminen en het wijdere contact via internet, de naaimachine, heerlijk uitzicht op de tuin, en helemaal rechts de quiltstandaard met een quilt die met de hand gequilt wordt. Plus natuurlijk nog vele andere zaken die ik allemaal regelmatig nodig heb (ahum!).

I already showed you my cupboard full of fabrics (post 47), this time I like to show you my working table. I know, it looks like a mess (which is correct) but I know exactly where to find everything and even have some space left to work! My husband made a special compartment on the underside of the table to store the rulers and cutting mat. On the tableyou can find a.o. the patchwork job I’m working on, my little bag with hexagons to take with me on my travels or to the bee, something to cross stitch, my laptop for the motivating music as well as for reaching out to the rest of the world via internet, the sewing machine, a beautiful view of the garden, and, at theright, the quilt frame with a quilt I’m quilting by hand. And of course many others things I need on a regular basis (hah)!
